Sundance Trail Guest Ranch is looking for enthusiastic, horse-savvy individuals with a flair for hospitality to join our team as Wranglers for the summer season!

Compensation: $14.81/hour + tips

What You’ll Do

As a Wrangler, you’ll be at the heart of ranch life, ensuring both horses and guests have a memorable experience.

  • Horse Care: Feed, catch, groom, and saddle horses for rides. Maintain a high standard of horse care, including basic equine first aid.
  • Lead Rides: Guide guests on scenic trail rides, sharing stories and ensuring their safety throughout.
  • Engage With Guests: Join guests for meals, participate in evening activities, and create a welcoming environment throughout their stay.
  • Pitch In: Help out in other areas like the kitchen, housekeeping, and ranch maintenance to keep everything running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

We need team players who are confident, self-motivated, and genuinely love working with both people and animals.

Must-Haves:

  • Proficient horseback riding skills
  • Basic knowledge of equine first aid
  • CPR certification and first aid training (or willingness to obtain it before starting)
  • Outgoing, friendly personality with strong communication skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to a variety of tasks each day
  • Ability to work well in a team and take direction

The Fine Print

  • Work Schedule: Typically 40 hours/week (5 days on, 2 days off). Additional hours, if needed, are pre-arranged and paid at time-and-a-half.
  • Housing: Provided at no cost.
  • Meals: Healthy, ranch-style meals included.
  • Activities: Enjoy all ranch activities during your free time—on the house!
