What You’ll Do
As a Wrangler, you’ll be at the heart of ranch life, ensuring both horses and guests have a memorable experience.
- Horse Care: Feed, catch, groom, and saddle horses for rides. Maintain a high standard of horse care, including basic equine first aid.
- Lead Rides: Guide guests on scenic trail rides, sharing stories and ensuring their safety throughout.
- Engage With Guests: Join guests for meals, participate in evening activities, and create a welcoming environment throughout their stay.
- Pitch In: Help out in other areas like the kitchen, housekeeping, and ranch maintenance to keep everything running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
We need team players who are confident, self-motivated, and genuinely love working with both people and animals.
Must-Haves:
- Proficient horseback riding skills
- Basic knowledge of equine first aid
- CPR certification and first aid training (or willingness to obtain it before starting)
- Outgoing, friendly personality with strong communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of tasks each day
- Ability to work well in a team and take direction
The Fine Print
- Work Schedule: Typically 40 hours/week (5 days on, 2 days off). Additional hours, if needed, are pre-arranged and paid at time-and-a-half.
- Housing: Provided at no cost.
- Meals: Healthy, ranch-style meals included.
- Activities: Enjoy all ranch activities during your free time—on the house!
